Outlaw: Nightmare takes place in 1201 AD. Richard the Lionheart has died on his return from the Third Crusade, leaving his forces scattered and broken. With no clear path home, the survivors have formed small bands, making their own dangerous journey back to England.
You will be part of one of these returning bands. You have finally reached the shores of England, but something isn’t quite right.
King John and the Barons are at each other’s throats, each retreating to their own strongholds and leaving the peasants to fend for themselves from those who return from the Crusades are tired, hungry and lost.
And you are among them.
We’re using an interpretation of our usual Nightmare Rules that we’ve had in place at three runs of Flying Lead: Nightmare so far – think of this as a “Treehouse of Horror” episode: characters (or their descendents) can be pulled from the main campaign for this one-shot, even ones who are dead in the canon of Outlaw Feel free to put together an entirely new character for it too if you wish!

A mandatory safety brief will take place at 8pm, followed by the in-character briefing.

Saturday will run from 10am until late, whenever the game comes to a natural conclusion. From past experience this has been between 11pm and 2am, with a quick debrief and R&R time afterwards.
Sunday will be purely packdown – we usually run breakfast a little later so everyone can get a little more sleep!
